Jennifer believes strongly in leading by example. “Leadership requires not only setting clear expectations but modeling the level of performance you expect from others,” she says. Jennifer continues, “Being a leader means stepping up as the first person willing to ‘get your hands dirty,’ while encouraging and empowering others to jump in with you!”

Jennifer earned her BBA in Marketing from Abilene Christian University and her MBA in Management from the University of Lynchburg.  She’s a graduate of Streetwise MBA, offered through the Virginia Scaling4Growth program.  Jennifer is a certified CPR instructor through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Health and Safety Institute, and National Safety Council.

She’s lived in the Lynchburg area for 8 years now but is originally from Dallas, Texas where she worked under titles such as:  Senior Research Analyst and Director of Marketing and Business Development.  Her personal, professional passion involves creating environments that help development and support entrepreneurs.

While Jennifer has achieved great success in the business world, she feels her greatest achievement is being a mother to her 7 children.  Her heart for the orphan led her to become a foster mom and ultimately adopt 3 of her 7 children.
