Tell us about your professional role:
I have been in healthcare for over 15 years beginning as a CNA/Medication Aide, with the last six years as a LPN. In my current role, I am responsible for the admission process of new patients by ensuring referral information is complete and current, identifying the clinical team to deliver care based on service area and scheduling all patient visits within prescribed discipline and visit frequency requirements.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In addition to my full time position, I also run an online medical apparel store, Scrub Connections, LLC (formerly located at River Ridge Mall) and also an online shop that specializes in inspirational gifts, InspireU. I am also a first year member of Junior League of Lynchburg.
Who or what inspires you? My husband and children inspire me to always give 110% in everything that I do and to never give up on my dreams and aspirations.
What's something about not many people know? I was the commencement speaker at my nursing graduation in 2015.
